Hello,
It was a huge honour to have been invited to the Miss Guided launch event. You may have recognised their original scent “Babe Power” however they have now added a further 3. Excited to see how they compare, I went along to the launch event in Toy Room, London. Each of these come in a beautiful luxurious chrome can topped with a ring pull can spray. These were created with the amazing perfumer Per-Scent, who was the original collaborative influence for the creation of “Babe Powder”
BOSS BABE
Not only is the name my daily mantra but it also smells like a boss. The fruity but floral top notes which include pear and bergamot will leave you feeling like a total babe. Which dry through a floral heart before reaching a mixed base including musk and sweet tonka. This intense scent is easy to wear both day and night.
BABE DREAMS
Amongst the guests this appeared to be the favourite and it is understandable why. The light and dreaminess of sweet chypre scent (chypre means Cyprus in French) was very feminine and light. One top of a mix of vanilla and others base, it has a has rose and violet heart which is topped off with pink pepper and red fruit accords. The lightness of this makes it feel like a happy, dreamy day scent.
BABE OUD
My personal favourite was this mysterious fragrance. Like in the middle east, I take my ouds very seriously. Due to the distinct scent the notes are also have an exotic depth to them. The tops notes are a mix of red fruits and citrus such as orange. The floral heart includes geranium, jasmine and rose alongside oud, black pepper and saffron. This is before it dries down into a mix including musk, Kashmir fusion tonka, base.
