Hello,
Today I received the Spring colour collection from Jane Iredale which I am excited to share with you. The products are in two phases and phase one is already available whereas I have an exclusive phase two preview.
To give you a little background this brand was founded by Jane Iredale back in 1994. She was inspired after experiencing the ill-effects of makeup she wore. She wanted to make makeup that was good for the skin and so the products are mineral based. (full story can be found here)
So over to phase one of the Spring collection starting with the Pure Pressed Eye Shadow triple which is in “Soft Kiss”and “Pink Quartz”. These come in beautiful rose gold packaging which I am loving this season. I think the benefit of a trio compact is you can carry just the one if you need to do your makeup on the go.
Pure Pressed Eye Shadow Triple £28 RRP *available March 1st*
“Soft Kiss” has a warm matte mauve shade with a shimmery port wine and shimmery smoky brown.
“Pink Quartz” is more shimmery with a light pink, shimmery soft pink and a cool plum.
Both of these have great potential for both night and day looks not to mention that they can be used both wet and dry and on the cheeks, lips or as a brow filler. At the moment I generally love using eye palettes wet and I intend to experiment with Pink Quartz by using the lightest shade as a brow bone highlight.
Peaches and cream Bronzer Refill – £29.95 RRP *available March 1st*
Next is the bronzer refill which I was personally drawn to immediately because of the beautiful shades of shimmery peaches and pinks. The shades are clearly versatile enough to use on your eyes cheeks soft contouring or mixing the shimmer with some body cream for a nice body glow.
If you are someone that would like it in a compact then there is this matching rose gold refillable compact available (£12 RRP).
In Touch Cream Blush – £24 RRP *available April 1st 2017*
So I have the shade “Candid” which is a warm rosy neutral. I have just started using more cream based products as I have been experimenting with dewy makeup looks. The thing that I like about sticks like these is that they are handy when I am in a rush to use on the cheeks, lips and eyes.
PureMoist Lipstick £19.95 RRP *available April 1st 2017*
I always have to finish my look with a lip shade so I feel these two would good for an everyday look depending on my mood.
“Lisa” is a creamy rose beige whist “Susan” is a soft cool pink. If you love Jane Iredale then you will recognise Susan which is returning due to popular demand.
Really happy to have had the opportunity to share this preview and thank you to Jane Iredale and the IIAA for sharing it with me.
These look beautiful! I especially love the bronzer refil! The colours look stunning!
