You should remember Perfume Society from my previous post about their feel good box. Recently I received their Discovery Box to review for you in this post.
The purposes of the box was to share the new fragrances perfume society were most excited about. The selection was hand picked with a variety of fragrances and price points for everyone to try. In addition to the fragrances they’ve added a stunning new nail polish by Nails Inc. (value £15) plus two travel-size I LOVE Cosmetics body wash.
LA Pathere has an interesting blend of fragrances from top notes of bergamot to base notes of leather. A Rose For… has a middle not of red rose although overall is quite a smoky scent with notes such as incense, cassis and amber. Flower By Kenzo has my fave neroli essence as a top note along side ginger which moves into orange blossom before hitting a base of tonka bean. Gender Fludity Gold and Silver although different smell quite similar to me both with tasty bae notes which include vanilla and amber woods. Violet Ida is very unusual from what I’m use to. It has notes such a carrot oil, orris butter and heliotrope.
Meanwhile Lost In the City is actually my personal favourite from the Miller Harris Forage collection. Notes include angelica seed, rhubarb and earl grey tea. Alien Fusion also contains ginger as a top note (I love ginger) along with tuberose and tonka bean not to mention the rest. Shay & Blue White Peaches scent is very simple but perfect for peach lovers. Only 3 notes which are peach, elderflower granita and silver birch wood. Yardley Iris is actually strong iris scent despite this being only a middle note. I actually went to the launch of the full range and will add this separately.
(You may have seen on my Instagram already which one is my favourite.)
You can pick up this box on the Perfume Society website for either £19 or at a VIP reduced rate of £15.
