Camber Sands

Hello,

This post is about a staycation idea local in a place named Camber Sands. I am a true summer baby and so I love nothing more than sitting by the sea throughout summer. I particularly love when this is with my feet deep in the sand.

Whenever I say that there are proper sandy beaches in England which are commutable from London, I am never believed as most beaches have pebbles. What I find most interesting about this location is that it is surprisingly quiet for a sandy beach. This may be as it is quite secluded unlike Brighton beach where there is a large selection of activities. I do however feel that this adds to the appeal of visiting Camber Sands as it is quiet.

There’s a selection of cafes along the beach which is really nice to sit overlooking the sea.

The one thing I will mention is I went a few times last summer and I found it can get really windy so be sure to bring wind shields along with you so you don’t end up with sand in your eyes.

I’d love to know of any beaches you particularly enjoyed so I can add it to this summers list. Be sure to let me know by leaving me a comment below.
