Top 10 beauty advent calendars this year

essie advent calendar

Hello,

Although it is already the first of December, if you have not picked up an advent calendar there is still time. From affordable to luxury I wanted to share my top ten beauty advent calendars which you could check out if you love all things beauty related. It is such a challenging decision to make each year especially when you’re not able to get your hands on them all. Hopefully this post will guide you to your perfect match whether it’s for yourself or an early gift for your nearest and dearest.

Makeup Revolution

In this advent you get 25 full sized product surprises at MUR’s well known competitive prices for advents. This is definitely going to be fun for any beauty lover and each year these continuously get better and better.

This year there is a second MUR option of a “Christmas Tree” calendar with a slightly different range and looks as though it is even better for someone who is new to makeup as the range of products include eyeshadow palettes, a handheld brush cleaning pad and a beauty blender.

Sleek

Sleek also have “A gift a day” calendar this year which has a mixture of full sized products along with handbag minis. Another great selection of Sleek products including eyeliner, brushes and matte me lipsticks.

Essie

If you love keeping your nails fresh then this Essie nail polish advent calendar may be the one for you. This is a whopping 24 day countdown full of some beautiful festive polish shades, gel couture and care products which I sure any nail lover would adore. The other thing I would highlight about this is that 5 of the shades are exclusive to the calendar.

Primark

Also providing customers with a nail polish advent this year is Primark which you can pick up for a reasonable £10. This one is quite mysterious to me as I am unsure what you can expect in terms of shades however this is great if you want to up your polish range.

OPI

Have a huge OPI packed advent calendar this year if they are your personal preference again on the upper range of pricing in this post. If you are a lover of OPI you’ll know this is completely reasonable and great value for money.

NYX

Nyx have an advent this year which is on the higher price bracket although you know know to expect when it comes to NYX. One full sized NYX product for each of the days leading up to Christmas will value at a price much greater than this.

Molten Brown

I adore Molten Brown when it comes to body gels and creams and so this one is ideal. You get a great selection of not only the favourites but also of packaging style which is always great.

John Lewis

Finally I would say this is top of Luxury from John Lewis, their first ever advent calendar. Full of brands including Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, Laura Mercier and Hermes is why it is priced at £149. If you know these brands well then you know that actually is not too bad and there will certainly be something for everyone should the advent be a shared one.

Which advent calendar will you be opening this month?
