Scandal – Jean Paul Gaultier review

jean paul gaultier review

Hello,

Hope you are having a great weekend. I am still working through my perfume collection and sharing each individually. Scandal by Jean Paul Gaultier was launched in June 2017 in collaboration with PUIG and will be the focus of todays post.

Design

The Scandal bottle has sleek curves to it with silver legs with heels on as a lid. The perfume name on the bottle is transparent making the liquid the text shade. This detail brings the bottle and design together.

Notes

The key notes of the composition are blood orange, honey, patchouli and gardenia, which united share a creamy, earthy and balsamic gourmet effect, with warm, deep, woody undertones. Gardenia in perfumes is particularly attractive to me as it is not overly floral but as the same time feminine.

Get yours

You can get this both in a hand bag friendly 30 ml alternatively 50ml Eau or 80 ml Eau de Parfum. In addition to the Eau de Parfum, the collection also includes perfumed body care products: a Shower Gel of 200ml and a Body Lotion of 200ml. As you know layering aids longevity of the fragrance throughout the day. So in addition to the Eau de Parfum, the collection includes a shower gel and body lotion.

Summary

This perfume is very bold and will certainly get heads turning. Despite this the gardenia softens the boldness and adds some sensual depth to it. Quite heavy for a day fragrance this has very good longevity per spray. If you like Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances I am sure you will like this one.
