So this by no means is a affordable list for me currently however here are the top destinations I want (really wish) to visit in 2018. I will add that my fear of flying stretches beyond that of a reasonable amount making it near impossible for me to travel often or very far. Enough about me lets jump into these lovely places and be sure to let me know where you are going or would love to go.
Starting this post with beach location since I have not had a proper sunshine holiday for almost a decade. Santorini has always spoken to me as a place that if money was not an option, I would move to. It looks absolutely stunning and no matter where I look online, the images are always picturesque.
I would say that this is and up and coming party destination for the older ages. Also very visually appealing for someone like me who wants the sun, sea and sand to surround them.
Bora Bora, Tahiti
Something about this makes it too good to be true, yet I know it is. Perfect turquoise lagoon and luxury resort bungalows perched over the water on stilts comes with a large price tag but one day I will get there to have the experience of a life time.
The City in a Garden, Singapore
Is it a city, island or country? I’ve no idea but I am desperate to go. The vision for the landscaping was delivered through the eyes of former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew. Its purpose was to soften the harshness of urban life and I would love to see it for myself.
Keukenhof (The Garden of Europe) is literally top of my list next year. It is a reasonable destination for me and I think I could survive the journey which would be completely worth it for such breath taking views. Any point in April is a great time so it is 100% on my 2018 agenda.
This is not a common choice in my social circles however it is somewhere that I am desperate to visit. It is very much an affordable city break location so I am hoping that I will be able to get there at some point next year since I feel travel will be a huge focus of mine.
Has always been on my list due to its breath taking architecture and Anastasia being one of my favourite children movie. I am lucky enough to know that this one is much more achievable in terms of destination for me as I do have many good friends there would would be happy to be my tour guide. If I manage t get myself over there then Moscow, Voronezh, Belgorod and Saint Petersburg are certainly places I would love to see.
Interestingly I particularly wish to go to Osaka and Kyoto not Tokyo. The reason for this is cherry blossoms which I hear are particularly breathtaking in the Spring. Also there are many traditional festivals to enjoy. Also very expensive so may be something I do in a few years but you never know I could win the lottery (I feel like 2018 is my year).
Very safe to visit I have hear and I hear the food is an experience since it is a mix between Mediterranean and middle eastern. Both of these cuisines are top of my list when it comes to cooking or eating out. Plus I do follow the Crown Prince of Jordan on Instagram who in my opinion, makes everything look cool in Jordan.
South West, United States
Seasons don’t appeal to me which is why South West (instead of West Coast) is one of my list of destinations. Here I believe is my spiritual home do not ask me why, probably the same reason that the thought of one season all year round really makes me happy beyond belief. Just as happy as the thought of county fairs where I can finally get to try some fried Kool-aid (yes drink as food) alongside some fried ice cream and a pickle, among other things. There are so many places I wish to visit in California as a whole that to just put one of them is actually a little unfair. Generally I want to travel around also stop off in Maine (East Coast) beforehand because there is a donut shop that is apparently really good. (Food generally dictates where I go)
