Brussels has quickly become a favorite of mine for so many reasons. The city’s stunning architecture, world-famous chocolates, and vibrant atmosphere make it a must-visit destination. It takes just a little over an hour to reach Brussels from the Eurostar terminal, so it’s incredibly convenient. To get you started, here are some places to check out in Brussels.

When in Belgium, indulging in a freshly made Belgian waffle from a local vendor is an absolute must for anyone with a sweet tooth or a passion for experiencing the country’s culinary delights.

Visitors can take a tour of the palace and see the stunning interiors. It was closed for refurbishment when I visited however I hope to get to go next time.

Manneken Pis is a small bronze statue in Brussels, depicting a naked little boy urinating into a fountain’s basin. It is one of the most famous landmarks in the city and is often considered a symbol of Brussels’ rebellious spirit. The statue has a fascinating history and is dressed in different costumes several times a week, with the outfits displayed in the Maison du Roi, a museum located in the Grand Place. Despite its small size, Manneken Pis is a big attraction in Brussels and is definitely worth a visit to see this quirky and iconic symbol of the city. Bonus points if you find Jeanneke Pis, the younger sister statue.

One of the must-visit places in Brussels is the Royal Galleries of Saint-Hubert, a beautiful shopping arcade that dates back to the 19th century. This elegant glass-roofed arcade is home to a variety of luxury shops, chocolatiers, cafes, and theaters, making it a perfect destination for a leisurely stroll and some indulgent shopping.
