Beauty Blogger awards

Hello,

I have been up to so much I am happy that I have had the chance to sit and catch up with you. I was so excited that I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Beauty blogger awards in Olympia London this year. I think what I found most exciting about it was the prospect of meeting other bloggers to just chat with and learn from.

This event was set over two days with a number of brands in attendance along with talks from inspirational people and a champagne entrance. When I received my ticket I looked again at schedule and realised that I needed to attend both days in order to get everything I wanted from it.

The second day of the even overlapped with The Olympia Beauty show, which happened to be in the same building and I attend every year. This meant that I would be able to catch the actual awards which was towards the second day and also fit in some retail therapy.

I had the warmest of welcomes when I arrived by Alice who is highly accomplished and now Editor-in-Chief of Blogosphere magazine. Accompanying her was Editorial Assistant and blogger Albertine Brandon. After having the pleasure of learning about Blogosphere Magazine (which admittedly was unknown to me), I picked up issue 9 which had Victoria on the cover. The thing that I love most about it is its made by bloggers, for bloggers and despite being full of tonnes of content? It has no advertisements.

There were a number of brands which all took the time to speak with me and tell me more about their brand. After speaking with Nouveau Lashes, I was lucky enough to become a member of their lashgang. I will share with you soon my thoughts on Nouveau on a separate post.

So overall I had a fantastic time. The talks delivered were really informative and brands such as NYX, newly UK launched Skin Fix and Jane Iredale were also in attendance. Plus I got to me established bloggers along with new bloggers and I made some new friends.
