About Vegamour

Have you heard of Vegamour? It’s a beauty brand that creates plant-based products specifically designed to nourish your hair. The best part? All of their products are vegan and cruelty-free! Whether you want to strengthen your hair, Vegamour has got you covered. But how do you pronounce it? It’s pretty simple – it’s pronounced “VAY-guh-more.”

I discovered Vegamour at a Sephora opening event in London and have been eager to try their products ever since. They sounded like just what my hair needed. Their hair care line includes products like GRO Hair Serum, which promotes hair growth and strengthens hair follicles. They also have a complimenting GRO Shampoo and Conditioner formulated with natural ingredients like argan oil and biotin to nourish and hydrate hair. Vegamour also has a GRO Hair Mask, which is an excellent option if you’re looking for a deep conditioning treatment. For thinning hair, their GRO Hair Serum promotes thicker, fuller hair. I’ll be reviewing some of these products in this post.

Packaging

At first glance, the packaging of Vegamour Gro products looks sleek and elegant. The soft green and white colour scheme gives off a natural and eco-friendly vibe, which aligns well with the plant-based ingredients used in their products. As for the product scent, it is refreshing and subtly herbal, which further emphasises the natural aspect of the brand. The best part is that they look so beautiful on the shelf in the bathroom between washes.

GRO Shampoo and Conditioner

A good shampoo and conditioner that suits your hair type is essential for maintaining healthy hair. Regarding Vegamour’s GRO Shampoo and Conditioner, the brand promises to nourish and hydrate hair while promoting healthy growth.

The GRO Shampoo and Conditioner strengthens hair, prevents breakage, and improves overall hair health. It is formulated with natural ingredients like argan oil, biotin, and saw palmetto. The brand also claims that its products are free of harsh chemicals like sulfates and parabens.

I’m impressed after using the GRO Shampoo and Conditioner for a few weeks. My hair felt noticeably softer and smoother, and I noticed much less hair falling in the shower. The shampoo lathers well and has a refreshing scent, while the conditioner is thick and creamy, leaving my hair feeling deeply moisturised and hydrated.

Hair Treatment Mask

The Hydr-8 hair mask is formulated with vegan ingredients like aloe vera, sacha inchi oil, and quinoa protein that work together to moisturise and strengthen hair.

I applied the mask after shampooing and left it on for about 10-15 minutes before rinsing it out. The first thing I noticed was the refreshing scent, which was subtle and not overpowering but delicious. The mask itself was thick and creamy, making it easy to apply.

After rinsing it out, my hair felt softer, smoother, and more manageable. It also looked shinier and healthier. I also noticed that it did not weigh my hair down or make it greasy; my scalp also felt well-balanced.

Hair Growth and Scalp Treatment

Vegamour’s Scalp Detoxifying Serum is a powerful product that helps to remove buildup, excess oil, and impurities from the scalp. This plant-based formula contains a blend of powerful ingredients like apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, and biotin, which work together to exfoliate and clarify the scalp, unclog hair follicles, and promote healthy hair growth.

The serum is easy to apply, and the unique applicator ensures the formula is evenly distributed across the scalp. The formula is also free from harsh chemicals like sulfates, parabens, and phthalates, making it safe for regular use on all hair types.

To use the serum:

  1. Start by parting your hair into sections and applying the serum directly to your scalp.
  2. Massage the serum into your scalp using your fingertips, covering your entire scalp.
  3. Leave the serum on for 5-10 minutes for best results.

The scalp serum is a pre-wash treatment, so after using the serum as a pre-wash treatment, follow up with Vegamour’s GRO Shampoo and Conditioner. These products will help to remove any residue from the serum and leave your hair feeling clean, soft, and moisturised. It is recommended to use the serum at least once a week for best results.

Hydr-8 Leave-In Conditioner

To use Vegamour’s Hydr-8 Leave-In Conditioner, apply a small amount to your hair after washing and conditioning. You can either apply it directly to your hair or spray it onto your hands and then distribute it evenly through your hair. There’s no need to rinse it out, as it’s designed to be left in your hair to provide long-lasting hydration and nourishment.

One thing that stood out to me was the texture – it was just right, not too heavy or watery, making it easy to apply and absorb. My hair felt softer and hydrated, and I noticed way less frizz. This could be an excellent choice for anyone looking to give their hair extra love and care at the end of their wash routine.

Vegamour offers a wide range of hair care products that cater to different hair types and concerns.
