It is the beginning of February, so it’s time for me to share the beauty products empties from last month. Surprisingly there are quite a few, and I have a lot to share about them.

Revolution Skincare x Sali Hughes Must-C Anytime Daily Serum
First, it did not oxidise like I typically find with these products. (You know it turns into a strange brown colour). The scent was pleasant, and the supply lasted me a long time. If I didn’t experiment and had so many skincare products, then I would repurchase this.

Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector
After years of hard work, this product would give my hair that final push in the right direction. Instead, my hair began to fall out and break, and although I thought it may have been a coincidence after furiously googling, I discovered it was not just me. If I work out why this may be, I will share it in another post.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer deep-conditioning treatment
As I mentioned, I have been experiencing breakage, so restoring my hair health has been my top priority. Whilst searching through my hair care products, I came across the Philip Kingsley elasticizer deep-conditioning treatment and gave it a go. The initial surprise for me was that it was a pre-wash treatment. Designed to provide moisture to highly damaged hair while adding silkiness, suppleness, elasticity, bounce and strength (basically, everything my hair needed). After the first use, I found my curls went from flat to a more healthy, bouncy condition. It does extend the wash process; however, I’m happy with this, considering how I feel my hair is after each use. The size I had lasted me three washes, so when I repurchased, I picked up a larger size.

Catrice EYEconista volumising mascara
This one surprised me as it was one of the first products I had tried from Catrice. However, this was a good surprise since my lashes had never looked so good when using this product. The success is due to the tiny but impactful wand. The size of the wand makes it great for precision, and it has a curve to it, making it perfect for lash definition. There is a waterproof version, one I intend to purchase next.

Byredo Mojave Ghost
Although I knew this day was coming, I still was not ready for it. This perfume has been my signature since the first spray; however, I only purchased a small handbag size (due to the price). The name is enticing and unusual. The scent is a woody composition inspired by the soulful beauty of the Mojave Desert, California, where rare plants dare to blossom in the wilderness. From the first hit of musky Ambrette combined with fresh Jamaican Nesberry, this perfume got me, and the spirit of Mojave Ghost lingers on the skin for days. I had been saving for this moment, so I repurchased, considering getting the body wash and cream.
Notes:
- Top: Ambrette, Nesberry
- Heart: Magnolia, Sandalwood, Violet
- Base: Cedarwood, Musks, Vetiver
