3ina The 3 in 1 Foundation – Swatch & Review

Hello,

Recently I have been using the 3ina (pronounced Mina) The 3 in 1 foundation an awful lot and I have received a few questions around not only the shade that I use but also the availability for deeper skin tones. Whilst I was in London over the weekend I thought I would stop by the store and take some images which I hope you find helpful.

You may notice the numbers appear slightly out of sync with “216” being the deepest shade. This is as 3ina have been expanding their shade range so I imagine that this is only the beginning.

My match is 219 which is one of the best foundation matches I have had and probably the reason why I have bought a spare already.

So that you know before I talk about how I find it, I have a heavily oily t-zone and my skin is prone to breakouts and scarring. In terms of coverage I find it more on the full of medium-full with a semi matte finish (more like my ideal skin type). It is 3 in 1 so in terms of consistency, it is thicker than most foundations. I only require about 1 pump to cover my face so a little goes a long way.3ina foundation range swatch

I originally purchased this with both the 3ina loose setting powder and the setting spray as I was informed that the foundation would perform better. Since then I have tried various combinations with these (with and without primer) and I have found that they do make a difference with all my foundations not just 3ina. Specifically I have found that without any powder top up, I get longer wear and little shine especially on my oily parts. (I am particularly prone to a very shiny nose)

There are 24 shades so far and the foundation is available for £15.95 on their website a stockist HERE (*affiliate link)

Will you be giving it a go?
