Bluebird restaurant – Chelsea

Hello,

I adore Chelsea and one of my most favourite places to eat is at the Bluebird restaurant.

I often go when I want to catch up with my nearest and dearest as it offers a variety of food and a great atmosphere. It also offers a wide selection on its drinks menus along with heated outdoor seating for cosy chats. What I love the most is that they also provide blankets outside along with the heaters so you can snuggle up in the warmth.

Bluebird

Located on the King Road Bluebird is a hugely popular location in Chelsea. It is made up of a Café and courtyard on the ground floor with a restaurant and bar on the first floor. The location also has its own wine cellar and food store.

Decor

The restaurant also provides great photo opportunities which its interior design and beautiful displays. I previously celebrated my birthday there and there was a fantastic flower display with tennis balls to celebrate the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

Food

I am so happy I can talk about this particular dish (left). It is unlike anything I have ever tried anywhere and it just makes my taste buds go crazy with pleasure. It is beetroot cured salmon and it is just amazing, I literally to have to order it whenever I go now and would recommend it to anyone.

From Vitamin boost drinks to Japanese whiskey, this place literally offers something for everyone. I kept drinking my drinks before I could photograph them (so yummy).

This was my main meal and as you can see the portions are generous and I felt the meals are great value for money.

Table bookings in Bluebird are for 2 hours, despite it being such a popular location. The service was smooth and we were able to continue our conversations outside and in the bar downstairs. The staff were all really friendly and tentative to our needs I feel that this added to an enjoyable experience.

I prefer to go with my favourite dishes once I discover them as I rarely eat out.

Have you been to Bluebird before? Let me know your favourite dish in the comments below.

Still hungry?

Ivy Chelsea
