The Unicorn/Mermaid makeup looks well and truly here to stay (thank goodness). Barry M are fully embracing this with a series of holographic makeup. First came the holographic lip toppers and now these beautiful holographic eyeshadow toppers. I just had to get my hands on them and have a play because you know I am a magpie when it comes to makeup (I need to have anything that sparkles).
These affordable toppers are the cutest things ever and lend to so many options with your makeup. The Barry M collection currently offers 4 mesmerizing shades; Supernova, Asteroid, Stardust & Luna.
When applied there are as creamy as the milky way drying to what looks like a foil. The formula make them super easy to blend out into a smoky look. Their flexibility means that they are wearable both day and night. Each shade has its own unique duo-chrome multi-dimensional sheen. Coupled with the handy precision applicator, these are easy to apply to any area of the eye.
Supernova
This has hints of northern lights style emeralds which would look great on anyone.
Asteroid
Has beautiful sapphire tones to it great for any mermaid lover.
Stardust
This is like a hot pink amethyst medley and has more of a bold color to it.
Luna
Has a great enticing soft purple mixed with almost a rose gold.
The thing that I particularly love about these is how much the triggered inspiration. I will certainly be experimenting with layers of all of them and in isolation in order to create a look. All of the shades are equally stunning however Luna was for sure the one that caught my eye. Not only can they be worn alone but also over your eyeshadow to really make your look pop.
These have been available since January 17th in Boots and Superdrug nationwide since the 31st.
